Bills QB Josh Allen had already beaten the Steelers with his arm, throwing two TD passes in the first quarter. Then he beat them with his legs. Below is the half-time score board…
The two-time Pro Bowler gave Buffalo a 21-0 lead midway through the second quarter on a 52-yard scramble to the end zone, marking the longest run of his career in any game and the second-longest TD run by a QB in NFL playoff history.
Allen fell four yards short of tying former 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick, who broke lose for a 56-yard TD run in a divisional-round win over the Packers in 2013. Allen’s previous playoff-long run was a 42-yarder during his postseason debut in 2020.
He has now scored three rushing TDs in his playoff career.
