On “Undisputed,” Bayless argued that there aren’t many coaches that can match Tomlin’s abilities.
He claimed that possibly his biggest shortcoming is that he does not push for more influence in the sense that he does not choose players each year; instead, he coaches those they receive.

Nonetheless, he believes Schefter is the most reputable source in the business, therefore there must be some truth to his story.
Bayless feels the revelation might have been a gift in disguise for the Steelers, since it has reignited Tomlin’s competitive spirit.
Whatever the case, the Steelers have major concerns to address, and the head coaching position isn’t one of them.
