Three teens killed and fourth left with life-changing injuries after horror crash
Police continue to investigate the triple-fatal collision in Shropshire and are appealing for witnesses to come forward
A horror crash on a county lane has seen three teenagers die and a fourth left with life-altering injuries. Emergency services had been called to Offoxey Road, in Tong, near Shifnal, Shropshire, following reports of a collision involving a silver Audi A1 at around 11:15pm on Friday.
Simon Evans, 18, from Perton, Staffordshire, was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics. Jacob Holeman, 17, from Codsall, Staffordshire, was taken to hospital but died from his injuries on Saturday and a third teenager, Jenson Bridges,17, from Brewood, Staffordshire, also lost his life on the weekend.
West Mercia Police said a 17 year old boy, is currently in hospital with severe injuries but remains in stable condition. Police are investigating the accident which occurred east of Telford and are keen to speak with witnesses or anyone possessing relevant information.
Investigators believe that the Audi A1 might have been travelling in tandem with a red Vauxhall Corsa and a black VW Golf, although these vehicles were not implicated in the crash itself, reports the Mirror.
