NASCAR NEWS: Michael Jordan Has Officially announced His is departing from NASCAR and Why…..👇👇
Michael Jordan is taking the NASCAR, the American auto racing giant, to the court over a disputed revenue-sharing model. Jordan, who won six NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls and is considered by many as the greatest basketball player of all time, is also the owner of 23XI Racing, a team that competes in the NASCAR.
Hall of Fame basketball player Jordan-owned 23XI Racing and another NASCAR team Front Row Motorsports have filed an antitrust lawsuit in the USA against the auto racing company and its chairman Jim France. The NASCAR teams are claiming that the new charter system in NASCAR limits competition by unfairly binding teams to the series, its tracks, and its suppliers.
Michael Jordan’s fearlessness and competitive edge to always be the best player on the court inspired every player who faced him. But even off the court, his relentless desire to win – whether in flipping mere bottles, card games, or golf matches – earned him massive respect.
Moreover, his unwavering determination to outdo his opponent was so intense that it often left the other person in awe. Recently, rapper Drake doubled down on this notion as he crowned the five-time MVP as his Gambling GOAT after experiencing firsthand how Mike wouldn’t let him leave until he beat him in a friendly game of ping-pong.
Over the years, we’ve heard numerous stories about Jordan’s pure obsession at winning everything he tried his hand in. Which includes former NBA star Antoine Walker once recalling how he and Mike played a game of spades with two random strangers and were down by as much as $900,000.
While an ordinary person would have understood the need for himself to walk off, MJ’s motivation to rise to the top only grew. So much so, that he didn’t just order for half a million to be brought to him in cash but he carried on playing for a staggering 36 hours straight so that he could recover his lost money; regardless of whether he had to postpone the announcement of his return to the league.
Real life gambling GOAT? To me, a controversial take, but it’s probably Michael Jordan. He’ll gamble on anything. I remember it was All-Star weekend in Toronto, and he had an event to be at. I beat him at ping pong a couple of times. He just wouldn’t leave the ping pong table. He just kept betting me bands like 10, 20 bands – he kept betting because he just couldn’t stomach a loss, you know,” Drake admitted with a smirk. “He is definitely not a quitter; I respect him deeply for his gambling nature. So, yeah, I would say Michael Jordan.”
