man is in custody and charged with killing a 62-year-old man in Tuscaloosa Sunday afternoon.
Joseph Early Miller, 62, was found dead in his home after Tuscaloosa Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of 18th Street at around 4 p.m. for a shooting.
The Tuscaloosa County Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) arrived and assumed the case, interviewing family members and establishing 41-year-old Andrew Wayne Hollie as the suspect.
According to authorities, Hollie had been in a relationship with Miller’s daughter, engaging in threatening and abusive behavior with both of them this week.
While Hollie was unable to be located at first, detectives continued processing the scene and conducting interviews, leading to a capital murder warrant.
He was eventually located by US Marshals early Monday morning.
He is being held with no bond.
